I created this Academy to change the way people learn things. 

Over the last 18 years I've developed a method that has allowed me to achieve things I never thought possible. I've gained a First Class Honours degree, a Masters Degree and passed around 100 exams. I've used this technique to solve Rubik's cubes, learn instruments that I've played in front of thousands, with my band, "The Corridors" and even learned from scratch as an adult, to play Chess to a high enough standard to represent NATO!

I have managed all of this with a genuine short term memory deficiency, which is most easily explained by instead of me being able to recall 7 or 8 new bits of information (around average), I'm limited to about 3. This makes following lectures, navigating or even remembering a shopping list much more challenging! To overcome this I developed a memory method that is similar to the 'method of Loci', but combines other ideas which exponentially increase your capacity for recall. Incidentally, I found that by linking concepts I actually remember, I naturally strengthened my subject understanding. Suddenly I could see! I want to give the students of this Academy that same feeling.

Each course taught by this Academy will begin with teaching you my method, which will help you get the best out of the course but will also give you a huge weapon in your arsenal for achieving your aspirations in your life. I have 5 years of full time teaching experience and am a qualified Defence Training Supervisor, I've also gained a Level 4 Certificate in 'Teaching in the lifelong learning sector' (CTLLS).
